Réponse d'origine: What does exceptional customer service mean to you?
David Peters’ answer is spot on. Exceptional customer service is about consistently finding ways to exceed your customer’s expectations.
Putting customer service on the backburner while hoping that you can keep customers due to a good product at a decent price is no longer enough. Customers are starting to demand superb customer service — between social media and various review sites, ‘good enough’ customer service won’t cut it. This is partly due to human nature: the negative experiences we’ve had in life tend to stick with us much more than a positive or neutral experience.
If you need some more convincing on the merits of providing exceptional customer service, a survey found that 47% of customers would take their business to a competitor within a day of experiencing poor customer service and 79% would do the same within a week. Not only that, but various studies have shown that consumers are willing to pay more with a company that they believe provides exceptional customer service.
Bridging the gap from ‘good’ to ‘exceptional’ requires a business to be proactive in anticipating their customers’ needs. To be able to do this, a business needs to know their customer, see things from their viewpoint, and meet them wherever they are on the customer journey.
Essentially, the ability to provide exceptional customer service requires companies adopt a customer centric philosophy. This requires investing resources (training employees, investing in tools to collect feedback from customers and monitor conversations, etc.).
This shift in being customer centric and providing exceptional customer service is well worth it as it helps a business engage with and build relationships with their customers. This allows a business to maximize customer loyalty and increases the long-term value of their customers who will continue to be loyal instead of seeking competitors. Not only that, but building on this loyalty will help create evangelist customers and create a bandwagon effect for your brand, as these customers help to recruit new customers for your business through word-of-mouth marketing.
Le dessus infographique should demonstrate why it’s in a company’s best interest to keep their existing customers happy and connected with their brand. This can only be accomplished by providing exceptional customer service.

Excellent customer service is defined by consistency. Each and every day.
You can fool me once by providing an exceptional experience on a single event. But can you or your organization deliver this level of excellence quelle que soit of how the customer service team feels, how the weather is, or who's watching?
What's remarkable about providing excellent customer service? The barriers of entry to do this are low! Just be friendly, helpful, care, and solve problems and you're doing better than 80% of the competition.
It's actually sad that we have to ask this type of question. Just like we don't think about breathing air to live, so should the delivery of top notch customer service.
Some other factors that define excellent customer service in no particular order:
- Ability to listen
- Offer relevant suggestions to the customer inquiry
- Actively seek feedback for improvement
- Willingness to serve
To wrap this up, excellent customer service is not a one time event. It's performed consistently over time despite of the challenges a team faces.
Do this and you'll have me and others as a customer for life.

Customer service means providing the customer with an experience characterized by quality of product, efficiency of service, and professionalism.
- Quality of Product :
- Since I work in fast food, I deal with providing customers with a variety of food and beverages. Thus, I try to give customers product that is fresh and full of flavor. If they have specific preferences, I try to make sure that they are met and fully satisfied (this gets easier when I get more used to the customer’s style and preferences).
- Efficiency of Service :
- While the service may not be the fastest you have experienced, I aim to be efficient with the fulfillment of the order to ensure a better experience. If I see a need, I try to go straight to the problem source and remedy it.
- Professionalism :
- In this, I attempt to be polite in all circumstances, if not always able to express more overtly friendly mannerisms (chatty, asking how you are, etc.).

Customer service is a division of your organization which is responsible for changing your customers into loyal customers. Since, starting a company is not easy and harder is hiring good people who buy-in into your vision. And what’s even harder than that? — It’s keeping your customers Sauver.
Traditionally, the way to do this would be to hire enough manpower to cater to all the customers.
A rather simple solution!
Though it is not something that I would recommend if you are running a startup look for automation and then the excellent customer service will mean
- Low response time
- Specific answers to the questions
- Helping users with personalization
