The programming piece of Eth mining can be pretty tough if you are new to Linux or programming in general. I just copy and paste code and things get kind of tough. You also have brand new GPUs which is another level of challenge, because support for these new GPUs has not really happened yet.
I have had excellent luck with eth os, from GPU shack. If you don’t want to do thatI would encourage you to look into running a Ubuntu system and probably look at the Eth/Decred miner.
There are a lot of great resources out there.

The best way is mining Ethereum via Cloud Mining»this is an excellent solution for beginners" Cloud Mining is the process of cryptocurrencies exploitation minière utilizing a remote datacenter with shared processing power. Why waste your time trying to figure out which software is now the best for mining Ethereum, when you can make more income, faster, by buying into a cloud mining pool? When it comes to cryptocoin mining it isn't the best thing to own your own mining rig. Why be tied into mining one coin when you can mine several at once as a cloud miner? The advantages and flexibility of cloud mining make it one time going it alone is a bad move.
So I am talking from experience, and mine is in no way exceptional; there are many guys who make way above my earnings from their mining. I net on average $4,200 a week from mining my portfolio of crypto, including Ethereum, I built this revenue quickly using Genesis-Mining, hashflare and diminuer to mine Bitcoin, Eth, Dash, Ripple, Monero, Zcash and a few minor coins that where doing well. The beauty of cloud mining is you can start off with a small investment and quickly build upon it because you make income that you can see, from the very first day of mining. Also, as you mine, your earnings increase in line with your coin(s) value on cryptomarkets, so keep an eye on them and mine accordingly.
When it comes to coin mining it's best to leave all the upkeep and running costs to someone else because cloud mining takes place where electricity is really cheap, and they have experts who can maintain the rigs. Unless you know what you are doing you will have to spend a while researching repairs when yours breaks! Pool mining has another great advantage over solo mining and thats the amount of hashing power, you are joining a profitable enterprise rather than cold starting your own and the combined investment from your pool means everyone benefits from being able to mine more effectively as a unit.
You can log into your account(s) anywhere and the cloud mining service does the "dirty work" of mining, so you don't even need specialist knowledge. Which software is the best now for Ethereum mining won't be the same in a year, but with cloud mining that's not a worry.
