This is such an interesting question which will cover (mostly) all the basics of Getting Paid for Indian Freelancers
First thing to know is that some Freelance websites do and some don't allow piling up your earnings for long (in some cases length may vary)
So you have to check with your freelance service provider (iWriter here) whether it allows you to keep working, getting paid and letting earnings accumulate.
Secondly, you need to have some mechanism to withdraw the money. Generally there are three options: Bank Wire transfer (may cost you ~$5 per transfer), Cheque (costly as well as time consuming), or third party services such as Envoyer de l'argent, payer en ligne ou créer un compte marchand - PayPal, Payoneer | Refer A Friend, Home | Skrill, etc which allows you to link your bank account and those freelance service providers for easy, cost efficient and timely payment. Their service charge differs though.
For Indians Paypal service is a little tricky. It requires CC as well as Bank Account linkup for smoothest workflow and in some cases just the Bank Account link up works as well.
Now enter Payoneer (Payoneer | Refer A Friend). Payoneer just relaunched in India after years and its supposed to be one of the smoothest payment service portal for Indians.
THE ANSWER:
If iwriter allows you to accumulate your earnings, then you may choose to do so until you link up the bank account with Paypal (you may need a Credit Card as well)

You need to give your bank account details and link your bank account. It is a must. Better be safe than sorry! Since, you are working as a freelancer are you aware of escrow mode of payment. Working as a freelancer can be a risky affair. You are always worried about your payment. Since, you work with unknown employers there is a lurking fear of getting cheated and not being paid.
You can join an online portal with escrow services to make sure you are paid on time and fraudulent activities are reduced, thanks to the integration of escrow services. Seobloggers - Get Freelance Jobs Online is a reliable online portal with escrow. Here, you can use your PayPal account and definitely give your bank details, while linking your bank with PayPal. There is no harm in giving your bank details, in fact, it helps money to get transferred immediately to your account, as soon as the employer approves and escrow releases the funds.

To the best of my knowledge, No.
You can keep a separate bank account, only for online transactions, to keep privacy of the main account intact.
